1 . WIRE DRAWING
Steel wire which is supplied in 8mm dia and 6mm dia, is reduced to the required size [eg., 4mm, 3.15mm etc.,] in the wire drawing machine |
 |
| |
2 . DRAWN COILS
The steel wire after reduced size [eg., 4mm,3.15mm dia] in the wire drawing machine is stored safely. |
 |
| |
3 . WIRE CUTTING MACHINE
The draw wire is loaded on a coil stand and fed in to the wire cutting machine. The wire, as it passes through a high speed spinned gets straightened. The wire cut to standard length wither tolerances and storedin racks after which they are moved to the wire feeder using a pallet truck. |
 |
| |
4 . WIRE FEEDER
Of very heavy construction, hence requres no foundation open desing for ready access. Wire is transported to the extruder via two pickup follers and 2 pairs of feed rollers. Uninterrupted wire supply through agitator shafts. |
 |
| |
5 . VERTICAL TYPE EXTRUDER
Vertical type extruder of very duty construction. Entire frame is of welded construciton machine for correct alignment of hydraulic cylinder and paste cylinder with coating mechanish. The wire feeder is at right angles to the paste cylinder.
Cylinder driven by hydraulic power ack mounted out sidemachine for easy access. The hydraulic reservoir voir holds 100-500 litres of oil depends on capacity. |
 |
| |
6 . HORIZONTAL TYPE EXTRUDER
Horizontal type extruder of very heavy duty construction. Entire frame is welded construction. Machined for correct alignment of hydraulic cylinder and paste cylinder with coating mechanism.
Cylinder driven hydraulic power pack maintained outside machine for easy access the hydraulic reservoir holds 100-500 litres of oil depends on capaciyt.
Cylinder driven by hydraulic power ack mounted out sidemachine for easy access. The hydraulic reservoir voir holds 100-500 litres of oil depends on capacity. |

7 . DRY MIXING
The Chemical powder in dry condition are weighed and mixed in the dry mixer. The dry mixer is packed in air tight bags and it is ready for wet mixing. |
 |
| |
8 . WET MIXING
The bonding additives are added to the dry mixer in measured quantities andground to a paste. The paste or wet flux, is transferred to the briquetting press for making briquettes. |
 |
| |
9 . SLUG PRESS
In the briquetting press, the freshly mixed, cooling flux is compressed and compacted into briquettes. ie., In a convenient form and ready for loading into the etrusion press. |
 |
| |
10 . CONCENTRICITY TESTING
The concentricity tester is used to check the concentricity of the flux coating with respect to the core wire. The tester has a " V " shaped knife edges anvil on the base of a microscope over which the electrode is kept and rolled. The connectivity values are read through microscope. |
 |
| |
11 . HIGH SPEED BRUSHING & TIPPING
The main body is of all-weldedn steel the machine is heavy, it requires no foundation. The main conveyor consists of two narrow number belts running on cast iron wheels. Electrodes from the magnetic pull-out belt strike the spring loaded plate and fall on to the narrow rubber belts. A corrugated rubber belt aligns the electrodes parallel. Two separate lateral aligning belts positions the electrodes before brushing and chambering. Operating speed 100 to 1000 electrodes per minute depending on capacity. |
 |
| |
12 . BAKING OVEN
It is robust construction, with a grid steel shell, the oven consists of a drying heating elements blowers for horizontal air circulating and automatic temperature control system. The space between the double walls of the oven is packed with grade insulation material. Thermostats protect the oven against over heating. |
